Take a step

Through the Mirror

...with me

There is a difference between knowing the tarot and being in relationship with it.

When I first began reading, I thought becoming a good tarot reader meant memorising seventy-eight meanings. But the deeper I travelled into mythology, depth psychology, embodiment, and Tantric philosophy, the more I realised that the tarot wasn't asking me to remember; it was asking me to relate.

Through the Mirror was born from that understanding.

This isn't a course about learning tarot. It is an immersion into living with the cards. Together, we'll step across a threshold and into a practice of curiosity, presence, and relationship. We'll tell stories, move with archetypes, reflect deeply, experiment boldly, and discover what happens when the tarot is approached through the whole of our experience.

Because relationships aren't built through memorisation.

They're built through time.

Through attention.

Through conversation.

Through returning again and again.

That is my hope for this immersion: that you leave with a relationship to the tarot that is alive, personal, and uniquely your own.

What you'll explore

Through the Mirror will be offered again in future, so September is not your only opportunity to participate.

However, the next live immersion begins on Sunday 27 September 2026.

Over ten weeks, you will receive:

  • Three or four recorded teachings and practices each week

  • A detailed journey through the Minor Arcana, Court and Major Arcana

  • Live Wednesday embodiment classes

  • Live Sunday sharing circles

  • Guided meditations, active imagination and ritual practices

  • Access to the private course community

  • A co-created PDF at the end of your journey

How we will journey together

Each week we'll explore a different aspect of the tarot; whether that's one of the four suits, a section of the Major Arcana, or another doorway into the symbolic world of the cards.

Every week includes three ways of engaging:

Study

Thoughtfully crafted video teachings introducing the week's theme, symbolism, and practices.

Embodiment

A live Wednesday morning movement practice, exploring the week's archetypes through the wisdom of the body.

Reflection and Community

A live Sunday evening sharing circle to reflect, ask questions, and learn alongside one another through conversation and practice.

The ten-week curriculum

Week One: Cups

Emotion, intimacy and the imagination through samskaras and rasa.

Week Two: Swords

Thought, language and the stories we create through vikalpa.

Week Three: Wands

Desire, creativity and the movement towards expression through dharma and pratibha.

Week Four: Pentacles

The body, materiality and the sacredness of embodied life through non-dual philosophy.

Week Five: The Court and Reversals

Projection, relational archetypes, the unlived self and the ways energy becomes hidden, blocked or transformed.

Week Six: The Major Arcana- The Living Tension

The emergence of self, duality and the tension of opposites.

Week Seven: The Major Arcana- The Emerging Self

The call to action, the road ahead and the teachers encountered along the way.

Week Eight: The Major Arcana- The Descent

Descent, surrender, shadow, transformation and the journey through the underworld.

Week Nine: The Major Arcana- The Integrating Self

Return, recognition, wholeness and the courage to begin again.

Week Ten: Patterns and Integration

Bringing symbol, philosophy, psyche, body and imagination together into your own way of meeting the cards.

How each week unfolds

New recorded material and a weekly journal will be released on Mondays.

The videos will guide you through four interconnected doorways:

The Cards

Imagery, symbolism and the unfolding journey

The Lens

Tantric philosophy, depth psychology or mythology

The Mirror

Relationship, projection and lived experience

The Encounter

Meditation, active imagination or ritual

On Wednesdays at 07:00 UK time, we will bring the weekly theme into the body through live embodied practice.

On Sundays at 19:00 UK time, we will gather to reflect, share and integrate what the cards have opened.

Who is it for?

Through the Mirror is open to complete beginners and experienced readers.

It may be for you if you:

  • Are drawn to archetypes, mythology or depth psychology

  • Want to experience tarot through the body and imagination

  • Are interested in emotion, desire, relationship and projection

  • Prefer reflective tarot to predictive reading

  • Want to develop your own relationship with the cards

Through The Mirror

  • Course

Do I need to attend everything live?

No. You are welcome to participate in the ways that are sustainable for you.

The Monday lessons are prerecorded, and recordings of the Wednesday embodied practices will be added to Podia. The Sunday circles offer an opportunity for live conversation and collective witnessing, but you will not be excluded from the course if you cannot attend them all.

You also do not need to complete every lesson before attending a circle.

How much time should I allow each week?

You can shape the course around your own capacity.

Alongside the live sessions, you may wish to allow approximately two to three hours each week for the recorded materials, meditation, journalling and personal tarot practice. You can divide this across several days rather than completing everything at once.

The course has a rhythm, but it is not another productivity standard. You can engage however you wish to.

Do I need to be an experienced tarot reader?

No. You do not need to know all seventy-eight cards or have an established reading practice.

We will explore the imagery, structure and developmental movement of the deck together. Experienced readers are also welcome, particularly if they want to deepen or reimagine their relationship with the cards.

Which tarot deck should I use?

I recommend having access to a deck that broadly follows the Rider–Waite–Smith structure, particularly if you are newer to tarot, as this will make the recorded teaching easier to follow.

However, you are welcome to work with another deck or bring several depictions into conversation. You may find it helpful to choose one principal deck for the full ten weeks so your relationship with its imagery can deepen.

Will I have access to the course after the closing circle?

Yes, you will have access until September 2027.
